How large is your Music Collection?
Our Music Library contains the hits of the 1920’s to Today’s Cutting Edge Tracks encompassing all era’s and genre’s We stock over 100,000 titles! Your assigned DJ will work closely with you to custom create the music you want for your event. We take requests and play what YOU and YOUR GUESTS want to hear, not what we want to hear.
Do Your DJ’s Come Formally Attired?
All Laser Sound Entertainment Entertainers come dressed in Full Tuxedo unless you specify otherwise. We will also dress to any occasion including theme parties.
Do you provide music during cocktail hour and dinner?
Yes. We provide non-stop music during your event to include cocktail and dinner music. Music volume will be kept to background level as not to interfere with normal conversation.
Will you be setting up after my guests have already arrived?
Absolutely Not! All equipment and lighting will be set-up and sound tested no later than hour before your guest’s arrival time. If you do not require music for dinner or cocktails, but rather for dancing later in the evening, we can perform an early set-up as not to interfere with your event once it has begun. A nominal fee for early set-up will apply.
How do I actually book Laser Sound Entertainment, and is there a deposit required?
Yes, we do require a deposit. To book Laser Sound Entertainment for your event, simply return a signed copy of our contract to us with a $150.00 deposit. If for any reason your event is cancelled or postponed to another date, your deposit will be valid for one year from the date it was received at our office. There is NO DEPOSIT REQUIRED to book School Events.
When must the deposit be received?
The deposit is due at the time you return your signed contract to us. Your contract will have an expiration date clearly printed at the bottom. From the time you receive the contract until its expiration date, your reservation will be held as “pending”, and cannot be booked by another client. If we do not receive your deposit by the required date, Laser Sound Entertainment will then make that date available to other interested clients.
When must my final balance be paid?
Your final balance will be due No Later Than 10 business days prior to your event. We accept personal checks, cash, money orders, and all major credit cards.
Is Laser Sound Entertainment Insured?
Yes. We carry liability insurance, as well as insurance on our equipment.
Will the DJ eat at my event?
That is entirely up to you. On the comprehensive checklist you will receive after booking Laser Sound Entertainment, you will find a section that asks whether you will provide a meal for the DJ, and whether it is a sit-down or buffet style meal. Even if the DJ is invited to eat, rest assured that the music is always continuous throughout dinner. We DO NOT take breaks!
Will my DJ smoke or consume alcohol at my event?
No Way! Laser Sound Entertainment company policy strictly prohibits our DJ’s from smoking, or drinking alcoholic beverages while on the job. We maintain a professional decorum at ALL times, including not using foul or abusive language while on the microphone.
What happens if my event is beyond your normal coverage area?
A nominal “Travel Charge” may apply depending on distance to your banquet facility. One of our Entertainment Specialists will be happy to give you additional information when you give us a call.
I live out of town. How hard will it be to book Laser Sound Entertainment?
This is not a problem for the professionals at Laser Sound Entertainment. We will work with you step by step to coordinate every aspect of your DJ entertainment. Then, when you do come to town, we will be happy to personally meet with you to address any final concerns you may have. We are here to serve you! We have made it very easy to obtain most of the information required to plan your DJ Entertainment either through our website or email.
What if we want Laser Sound Entertainment to perform longer than our contracted hours?
Overtime rates will apply for any time played beyond the hours stipulated in your contract. Overtime rates will be clearly marked on your contract.
Do your prices include a gratuity for the DJ?
No. If the DJ does a great job for you at the event, it’s customary to tip them based on their performance. In fact, it’s a great incentive for our DJ’s
